Moulin Noix sits at the end of a quiet lane outside St Laurent La Vallée, in one of the most beautiful corners of the Dordogne. The old country house with its white shutters and slate roof has been restored over more than two decades by Richard and Liesbeth Torenbeek.
They let it themselves, to a small number of families each year. Direct contact, personal service, and the house always in the same well-kept condition.

Kitchen · ground floor
The ground floor opens onto a spacious kitchen with gas hob, oven, dishwasher and two refrigerators. The dining table comfortably seats six. Across the first floor and the loft are three bedrooms, all with air conditioning, plus a mezzanine with an extra double bed.
Beds are made up on arrival, fast Wi-Fi reaches the pool, and central heating runs throughout for the shoulder seasons.
View the layoutA private nine-by-four metre pool, heated from April through October. Under the covered veranda, a long dining table with BBQ and a lounge corner. Six sun loungers on the terrace, and in the garden a trampoline, swing, table tennis and pool table.
The garden is fully fenced, with views over the vineyards and rolling hills on three sides. Suited to children and to guests travelling with a dog.

From Moulin Noix, you reach the village of Belvès in five minutes, the Saturday market in Sarlat in thirty, and the châteaux of Beynac, Castelnaud or the gardens of Marqueyssac in around half an hour. The Dordogne river, with its canoe routes from La Roque Gageac, lies ten minutes away.
